Who are we?
Are we priest and priestess of some long ago land? How is it that life places us so far away and our hearts so near? I wished upon a star for more clarity… Now Faith laughs while Trust drags me by the ear as I hurridly try to catch up.

Who am I?
I dream of possibilities and strive to make them manifest. Across the years I have slowly risen from my sleep and seen the world unfold before my eyes… not at all what I expected. Inside of me is a flame, burning steady and true regardless of all the adversities I have encountered. Great wealth, I have not found. Great friends, I have discovered in abundance! I am tormented by my talents which are many, and they demand attention when each is summoned by their respective muse.
A late bloomer, I seem to be. I strive to always better myself and the world around me, knowing that “every act of kindness is a little bit of love we leave behind.” A sensitive empath, I have not shielded myself from the world or those who would mock and judge me with impunity. I prefer to feel the depth of pain and sorrow than the cold wall of seperation. The voiced judgment of others does not make it valid, and their words dissolve in the light of my listening to their hearts.
The sheer random joy of connecting with those who raise their eyes in questing hopefullness in search of a soul who will dare to meet their gaze, is too precious to abandon. I would be lost if I shielded my heart with indifference. That I cannot do. Better to ride the storm of despair… that artist's pallette from which inspired genius can arise, than to close my eyes and ears to even a single tear or word of discontent.

I am fueled by a purpose that wells up from deep within my inner sanctum. It flows unchecked and sends waves cascading across my horizons while funneling my visions into actions, words, and deeds. Like a man possessed, I cannot surrender. I cannot turn away. The nectar of life is linked forever with the sweet hope of awakening to every instant with integrity. To greet each moment in a state of bliss may seem far away, and yet I am determined to bridge that gap.
Now I walk the path of non-violence, yet I hold the secrets of martial arts within my grasp. It is Love that is the greatest force. Armed with laughter and a smile, like a kung fu master, I banish the walls of fear into the shadows. Like a ninja, the shadows become as dancing puppets to further make merry the freedom from despair. Light hearted, like the buddha, I greet the day, and in every face I seek the playful child.
My blessings I do not count, for they flow around me like petals of a rose and make patterns of delight. I stop to embrace their scent along the way and avoid the prideful thorns with gentleness remembered. Will you share this with me?

You are a woman who perhaps, is more successful than I at functioning in this world. One who has filled her life with seeking rather than providing everything she needs, only to find that romantic Love has been stubbornly absent or fleeting.
